About 3TU.Datacentrum
The 3TU.Datacentrum is an initiative of the three technical universities in the Netherlands (Delft, Eindhoven, Twente). The 3TU.Datacentrum offers researchers the following:
- permanent access to research data
- advice and support on data management
- a reliable, long-term storage facility for scientific and academic research data
- options for linking publications to underlying data
- improved search visibility and citing for research data
Finding and sharing information
3TU.Datacentrum currently accommodates approximately 5,300 data sets. It works in collaboration with national and international partners, including DataCite, DCC, NCDD, DANS, SURF.
You can use the database to:
- select, combine and download long-term research data.
- share large data sets securely from a central point.
Deposit your data
Deposit your data in our data centre to give your research results greater visibility and make them easier to find and cite. Your data will be allocated a DOI (digital object identifier), enabling them to be found by search engines and linked data.
More frequent citing
Enriched publications are cited more often than publications that do not have a link to the underlying data. Storing your research data in the 3TU.Datacentrum archive also makes it available for further research.
Examples
- Data relating to Science article and supplementary material.
- Thesis with data and videos available online.
Further information
You will find more information on this website or in our flyer. On http://data.3tu.nl/ you can view examples of data sets.
